Release notes
The current version of NotifyDock, what it needs, and how to check that the installer you downloaded is the one we published.
Version 1.0.1
Released 19 October 2026
- Needs
- Windows 11 (build 22000 or later), 64-bit (x64). Windows 10 isn't supported.
- Installer
NotifyDock-Setup-latest.exe, 80,205,453 bytes (76.5 MB). .NET is included, so there's nothing else to install.- Installs to
- Your Windows account only (
%LocalAppData%\Programs\NotifyDock), with no admin prompt. - Publisher
- NotifyDock. The installer is not code-signed, so Windows SmartScreen may warn you before it runs.
SHA-256 of the 1.0.1 installer

The download link always serves the latest version. Each version has its own entry and checksum here, so compare against the entry that matches the version you downloaded.
What's new in 1.0.1
- Copy code no longer mistakes a year for a sign-in code. A message like “See you at the security meetup on 19 Oct 2026” doesn't offer “Copy code 2026” any more, while a real code such as “Your PIN is 2026” is still offered.
Version 1.0.0

SHA-256 of the 1.0.0 installer

What's in 1.0.0
The first public release.
- Free: move Windows notifications to any monitor and corner, with extra distance from the edge; placement that stays right across monitors with different scaling; opacity and click-through; an option not to move notifications onto a monitor where an app is fullscreen; start with Windows and pause from the tray.
- Pro: per-app and keyword routing rules; overlay cards with stacking, time on screen and optional sound; a searchable local notification history with one-click code copy; webhooks and local commands.
Check your download
A matching checksum shows the file you have is byte-for-byte the installer listed above. It doesn't mean the software has been audited. In PowerShell, in the folder you saved the installer to, run:
Get-FileHash .\NotifyDock-Setup-latest.exe -Algorithm SHA256
Compare the Hash it prints with the SHA-256 above; upper or lower case doesn't matter. If they differ, don't run the file: download it again from this site, and tell us if it still doesn't match.
If SmartScreen warns you
Because the installer isn't signed yet, Windows may show “Windows protected your PC”. Once the checksum matches, choose More info, then Run anyway.
Or install NotifyDock from the Microsoft Store, which doesn't show this warning. It's the same app, and Pro unlocks in it with the same license key. Store updates can reach you a few days after this page, once Microsoft has certified them.
Updating and uninstalling
To update, run the newer installer over the installed version; it closes NotifyDock cleanly first and keeps your settings. To remove NotifyDock, use Settings → Apps → Installed apps. Your settings and history stay in %AppData%\NotifyDock in case you reinstall; delete that folder to remove them too.
